MiZ Company Limited is a pioneer in research on medical of hydrogen. Our company reported the antioxidant effect of hydrogen water on oxidizing agent induced model of rat in English journal (Biosci. Biotech. Biochem ; BBB) of Journal of the Agricultural Chemical Society of Japan in 2005. Then, in domestic research (japan research), our research paper was published for the first time in academic journal. In addition, a gene level study related to oxidative stress of hydrogen has also been published in BBB journal in 2011 in collaborative research with the University of Tokyo, this is also a pioneering paper on hydrogen genetic research. Prior to the above report, in 2003, we filed a patent application showing that hydrogen selectively eliminated the hydroxyl radical in reactive oxygen species, and patented as the "Pharmacologically functional water and its use" (Patent No. 4653945). In addition, we also filed a divisional application of this patent and patented as the "Pharmacologically functional water and its use" (Patent No. 4783466).
